Things That Change When You Exercise For Health And Not Weight Loss
There are many benefits of exercises that have nothing to do with weight. Let’s look at the benefits of exercising for health and not weight loss!
- Health Becomes The Priority. Heart health, mental health, bone health, muscle health. When you exercise for overall well-being and not to lose weight, overall health benefits become the priority.
- Goals Become Diverse. Mastering new skills, building strength, running longer, better sleeps. All of these and more can become goals when your exercise goal isn’t to change the number on the scale.
- Gains Are More Than Just Physical. Focusing on exercising for health allows you to see all the other amazing benefits of exercise. Improved mental health, stress-reduction, increased energy and reduced pain are all examples!
- You Get To Have Fun. Some people may have fun exercising to lose weight. But fun is guaranteed when you are choosing exercises that you enjoy!
